It's Been Awhile...

I feel bad for neglecting my blog when I told myself I would update it more.

Just been busy with work that I haven't really had time to do anything else.

But now that work is dying down a bit... starting to pick things back up again before I start my other job.

It's taking me awhile to do them since I haven't really dont too many digital paintings in awhile

(even on my iPad)

2nd painting based off a fashion image I saw.

They're pretty inspiring so hopefully I can do those more in the future.

iPad Adventures

Did another little digital painting on my iPad.
I know there's things to fix body-wise and other things (colors, shadows, highlights, folds, etc)... but I'm going to correct them later when I feel like it hahah. Just wanted to post this up.

Anyways I watched a music video of one of K.Will's new songs and the main girl wore an outfit like this in the video. So I thought why not. While watching movies on my laptop, I just busted out the iPad and started drawing. And I gotta say, I'm having a lot of fun painting on the iPad (especially ever since I bought the stylus for my iPad. If you want to paint on your iPad... GET ONE).

I'm using a program called Brushes it allows me to just focus on only painting since there's just your basic painting tools. Especially since I've seen fellow colleagues doing more digital paintings, I've just been itching to do some too (I admit... I get easily influenced hahah). But I will say that working on the iPad, I gotta learn to take breaks or my eyes just get fuzzy after a while hahah.

Already started working on another one. And it's convenient to have my iPad with me when I'm on the go so I can just bust it out and just paint (or play massive amounts of games).

iPad Adventures

So I finally decided to buy a stylus for the iPad. Since I have a few digital painting programs on the iPad, I wanted to give it a shot. So while watching Archer (btw it's a must watch!), I just decided to doodle something quick since it's been awhile I've digitally painted and this is what I came up with. Hahah so much to improve on... but just thought I'd post anyways :)

Space Poo

Got bored again so I just quickly made another wallpaper out of one of my Series.
It's kind of fun taking them and turning them into wallpapers :)
Obviously they're not the best (and they all tend to be in the bottom left)
but they're just for my amusement right now.
Also, I get bored with wallpapers easily so I like to change it up a lot.

Pure Amazingness

Again, thanks to the wonderfully talented Thomas Yamaoka for doing a trade with me. Hahah he definitely captured my tomboy-ness so well :) So check out his work! He's an amazing concept artist and he's wow'ed me with his talented self since my first year at Otis (and he's always been so helpful and generous since day one!)

Also, Jaw Cooper, another talented Otis kid I'm so privileged in knowing, did a raffle on her blog and I happened to win one of her original little paintings! Hahah I've admired her work for years and I'm finally excited to have an original on my wall. Her work is definitely worth checking out. An amazing illustrator/concept artist who keeps shaBAMMING the world with her awesomeness!

Just continuing on with the Series series.
And I like how the last one looks more like a plump Smurfette... but with shorter hair and musical.
And I'm still continuing on!
Although I will admit that I'm running into a creative block since I had a bit of trouble coming up with more to do. But hopefully I'll be able to think of more things to do for the series!
